Yes, no hesitation. Proxmox 8 has been in production at several BISPRO clients since its release. HA cluster, vSAN-equivalent via Ceph, native PBS (Proxmox Backup Server), mature API, very active community. The only historical blocker (vendor support) is removed by Proxmox Enterprise contracts.

Veeam remains the leader on mixed VMware / Hyper-V multi-cloud ecosystems. PBS is native to Proxmox, free, storage-efficient (deduplication), sufficient for 80% of Proxmox-only cases. BISPRO operates both depending on context.
