Difference between refurbished, used and new?

New: out of the factory, never used. Used: old hardware sold as-is, without refurbishment or serious warranty. Refurbished at BISPRO: hardware inventoried, tested, failing components replaced, data erased to certified standard, QA and burn-in, clean OS installed, 12 to 36 month warranty equivalent to new.

Grade A — what does it concretely mean?

Grade A = no visible wear, scratch-free screen, flawless chassis, battery ≥ 80% capacity, 100% functional components. Stricter than most of the online refurbished market. If a unit doesn't pass our Grade A QA, it isn't sold.

What warranty on refurbished?

12 months minimum, up to 36 months depending on product. BISPRO warranty: parts and labour, on-site intervention across Grand Est, loaner if repair > 5 days. Identical to what we offer on new.

How much can I save vs. new?

On a 10-seat fleet, typical gap is -45 to -65% vs. equivalent new (Dell Latitude i7 / 16 GB / 512 SSD). On servers, the gap can rise to -70%. Immediate ROI from purchase.

Is it compatible with public tenders?

Yes, refurbished is increasingly valued in public procurement (environmental clauses, French Procurement Code articles 35-38, AGEC law). We provide: refurbished technical memorandum, erasure certificates, avoided carbon footprint, documented equivalent references.

How does delivery and commissioning work?

By volume: 1 to 5 seats — delivery + deployment within 1 to 2 weeks. Larger fleets — planning over 4 to 6 weeks with progressive rollout (master, drivers, AD / Entra ID join, business apps, user training). Included in the MCO contract if you're managed by BISPRO.

Do you sell to private customers too?

Yes. On-site store in Saint-Avold or online order. Configurations for remote work, students, freelancers. 12-month minimum warranty, local support, no offshore hotline.

Is the environmental impact serious?

A refurbished PC avoids ~170 kg CO₂ equivalent on average vs. manufacturing a new PC (source ADEME). On a 50-seat fleet renewal, that's ~8.5 tonnes CO₂ avoided. Carbon footprint provided with your order, directly usable in your ESG report.

How we refurbish — step by step

No empty marketing: here's exactly what happens between a device arriving at our premises and its delivery.

01 · Diagnostic & selection
Each incoming device is inventoried, dismantled, tested component by component (CPU, RAM, SSD, battery, screen, fans). Failing components are replaced.
02 · Cleaning & refurbishment
Interior and exterior cleaning, thermal paste replacement, BIOS / firmware update, new SSD if the original is > 30% worn, new batteries if capacity < 80%.
03 · Certified data erasure
Certified low-level erasure on all drives, or physical destruction on request with destruction certificate.
04 · QA & burn-in
24 to 48 hour stress tests (CPU, RAM, disk, screen). Clean OS reinstall (Windows 11 Pro fresh license, macOS, Linux). The unit ships only if it passes everything.
05 · Delivery & warranty
Fleet prep (master image, drivers, business apps, AD / Entra ID join), on-site delivery, configuration. 12 to 36 month warranty activated.
